Chocolate Lollipops

We started making these at Christmas a few years ago, and it is something the kids always want to do again. A good sign, yes?

Supplies:

Christmas candy molds
lollipop sticks
colored chocolate wafers
paintbrushes

Start by dividing your chocolate by color into several microwave safe bowls. Microwave for 30 sec-1 minute at a time, stirring after each cycle, until it is melted.

Now you can paint the candy molds with the melted chocolate. Begin by doing the small details, then work to the bigger areas.

When you change colors, use a different paintbrush so you don't mix different chocolates together. After you have painted all the details, fill in the rest of the candy mold by spooning melted chocolate in and tapping the mold until it makes a smooth top. Put a lollipop stick into the chocolate and let it stand until the chocolate is firm.

Pop out your treat and enjoy!
