Paper Bag Owl

We made a very cute and fun little owl friend that I was excited to show you.
What you need: several shades of brown paper, cut into wings so you can see the layers, yellow paper for feet and beak, brown markers, glue, tape, googly eyes, a stapler, a couple of feathers, a paper bag, and some newspaper.

Start by drawing feathers on the front of the paper bag, starting at the bottom, and working your way to a little over half way up.

Crumple the newspaper and stuff it in the bag.

Fold the top of the bag into a triangle, as shown, and then fold it down and staple into place.

Glue on the feet to the bottom of the bag, and staple on the wings to the sides.

Cut out some brown paper circles and glue them on either side of the folded down triangle. Add googly eyes to the circles. Glue on beak.

Tape a couple of feathers onto the top of your owl's head and he is all set. Isn't he adorable? I just loved him!
