Rhyming Cards

Here's something I inherited from my sister that you could easily make for yourself: Rhyming Cards



Each card is divided into a grid with nine spaces, each containing a word. The words are all different, but there are three words on the card that rhyme. The object of this game is to find those three words.

He and I worked together to sound out each word and find the three rhyming words hiding in the grid. When we found one that rhymed, we covered it up with a little token. Pennies, poker chips, buttons, whatever you have on hand would be fine.

After we found the words, (goat, coat, and boat) all the rhymes were marked off and the remaining words all had a different ending sound.

Mission accomplished!
