Gingerbread Man Invitation

Every year I host a Christmas Cookie Exchange. This is more of a mommy thing, rather than something I do with my little ones, so I wouldn't post this on here normally, but I made the invitations up yesterday and thought they were cute, and could easily work as a child's Christmas Party invite, so I thought I'd pass it on.

(Sorry that this is loading sideways)

I decided to make gingerbread men, as it is a cookie exchange after all. So I folded a piece of brown construction paper in half, and traced a cookie cutter, with a little of the head overlapping on the fold so that it would open. To make the squiggly 'icing' on the hands and feet, I just cut some white paper out with scrap booking scissors and glued it on. A few green buttons made from a regular hole punch, and a couple of googly eyes, and my gingerbread man was ready.

Then it flips open to reveal the party details. Cute, yes?
